Introducing the MADcontrol Series! 

A first of it’s class device providing synchronized network audio distribution & integrated control data.

This DCA (daisy chain audio) boxes allow a synchronized network audio distribution. Sources of up to 16 channels each  run via the network as an AVB stream to the listener devices. All devices can be in a daisy chain network operating as a network switch within each listener, saving on additional network requirements in medium sized installations.

Each listener can pick out any of the audio channels  (16/32)  and route it to one of the four independent audio outputs. All audio channels are always in sync, as opposed to traditional network audio, which is typically an asynchronous solution by default.

Additionally, this audio stream can send any kind of network commands via the same connection. For instance you could use the 8 digital IO’s (each one selectable as input or output), for controlling external equipment to be used as remote input. DMX is also available at each listener as shown.

The new MADcontrol Series integrates will all existing Weigl hardware. Each device will be able to control Pro I/O interfaces via the NET output, which is identical to a ProCommander NET output using the same Weigl standard protocol interpretation.

The series is designed for an emerging market where audio distribution and combined simple control functions are required. Similar to Crestron AUD-EXT, MADcontrol adds not only daisy chain possibility, but most of all complete control functionality.
