Motion

Weigl can directly interface with motion systems from 0-10vdc analog & PWM servo outputs to full CANOpen & EtherCAT implementations. Edit data with advanced industry standards such as bezier and hermite controls and exchange data through enterprise class exchange and interface methods. When your show is complete, export for stand-alone local media playback or Art-Net/MTC, FSK/SMPTE or PTP timecode sync.
Lighting
Create rich, layered lighting interactions through simple timeline recording, editing and creation tools. Simple RGB or level control? Program directly on the timeline. 16 universes and 18 timelines per controller can playback concurrently (audio layers limited by hardware chosen). With multiple controllers, or custom Conductor hardware, up to 1000 recorded universes are possible. When your show is finished, export for stand-alone playback in sync with local audio/video assets, or synced to ArtNet/MTC, SMPTE/FSK or PTP timecode.
Interactive
Using our published WEM | Script™ protocol, complete interactive control easily co-exists with pre-programmed creative timeline data. Adjust levels, start shows, overlap and build multiple levels of show interactions with UDP, serial or contact level I/O. With hundreds of RAM and EEPROM variables on every device, this powerful hardware/software combination allows for an unparalleled timeline-based and asynchronous control approach allowing for both rich interactivity and repeatable show performances.
Media
From Stereo MP3 playback to fully polyphonic multi-channel uncompressed audio and 4K UHD video, Weigl provides media expansion to your animation and interactive show timelines. Now with RAVENNA AES-67 support, easily use as stand-alone media players, or sync elements together through Art-Net/MTC, SMPTE/FSK, or PTP timecode. Timeline applications can also timecode sync, allowing for complete integration with large theme park and museum installations, using intuitive cross-platform tools.

Weigl Control leads the world in animatronics and entertainment motion controls. From 0-10vdc analog & traditional digital and servo animation, through our unique, growing library of motor drivers, CANOpen Master support and now EtherCAT®, Weigl offers more animation solutions than any other system. Below are examples ranging from simple pneumatic installations, to full feedback motor tracking and EtherCAT® PLC integrations. Shows can be compiled with or without audio to the onboard MicroSD or SD storage and triggered from digital inputs, UDP/TCP, IR or RS-232. Status reporting is possible as well over these interfaces and more. Up to 999 shows can be stored and most devices can run 18 timelines at once, or one per audio pair on standard ProCommander® devices and up to 4 audio layers per audio pair on certain X-Series controllers.
