Weigl software / macOS

Bring your show
to life.

Create motion, lighting and media on one visual timeline. Take the show from your Mac to Weigl hardware, ready for standalone playback.

One creative environment

Motion. Lighting. Media.

Capture the performance, refine the details and keep every element in time.

Motion, animatronics and show action.

Connect digital and analog outputs, CANopen motors, and RS-485 motors such as Dynamixel and more. Send data streams to full PLC systems.

Import animation from Maya and other 3D authoring programs, record live with joysticks and gaming controls, then refine movement with curve editing, interactive plots and tweening.

Lighting Control

DMX, sACN, Art-Net & Pixel Control

Create and record lighting alongside the rest of your show. Work with local DMX, Art-Net and sACN, with cues and effects following the same timeline. Our new lighting effects engine allows for the unique RGB/pixel creation of effects with live preview and more.

Audio & media

Edit audio in sync with movement and lighting. Shape playback on the timeline, keeping the soundtrack and physical show together as you make changes.

Show control & timecode

Organize show timelines, coordinate media and use timecode for synchronized playback. Add commands and WEM | Script logic when the experience needs interaction.

Pixel universes can be expanded via Advatek.

Live programming / Console Mode

Keep your eyes on the show.

Perform with joysticks, keyboards or MIDI controls, then refine the recording. Console Mode keeps the focus on connected outputs, the figure or CharacterView™.

Play

Replay existing envelope data.

Record

Overwrite timeline data from live inputs.

Touch

Activate an input to record its envelope.

Live

Try inputs without using recorded track data, with or without the timeline running.

Latch

Use Master Record to force recording across every envelope in the track.

Edit & Plot modes

Refine the performance.

Trim and shift envelopes, draw curves and tween points. Plot Mode compares selected tracks, groups and media while you edit.

Timeline & envelope editing

Interactive Plot Mode

Unique tweening. Live preview.

Refine complex curves with Showforge®’s unique tweening tool. Smooth recordings and imported Maya data, compare movements, and preview changes as you work. Combine point editing with live pencil and drawing tools, then record or play directly to your figure or lighting system. The magic happens here, only in Showforge®.

Play & record ranges

Work the moment.
Repeat the take.

Define playback and recording ranges with timecode or timeline markers. Set looping, rehearse a passage and record another take. Keyboard shortcuts and Stream Deck controls keep navigation close at hand.

Capture & map

Capture supported USB, network and Weigl inputs; map and scale tracks to supported outputs.

Organize channels

Group channels or universes and reveal individual data when needed.

Showforge® / Audio editing & EQ

Shape the sound.
Keep it in the show.

Edit individual stems and multichannel audio directly in the timeline. Slice clips, ramp audio within each section, and copy and paste across tracks and channels.

Mix what you hear live down to a supported multichannel ProCommander®, then get creative with polyphonic ramps and interactive layers of audio effects.

Showforge® / Video & interactivity

Program video with
the rest of the show.

Build and preview video cues alongside motion, lighting and logic in Showforge®. Place player commands on the timeline, adjust their timing and coordinate playback through supported commands and timecode. If using an mVP or ProVP video player, build interactive logic for local or remote scripting.

Using your own video playback device or media server? Use Showforge® for local rehearsal modes and offline edits in sync with your video, then punch in with timecode synced playback to the master controller.

Then export additional show control logic to ProCommander® or Pro I/O™ for standalone interaction.

Point the cue at your player.

Choose the target player and video output in the Showforge command marker.

Choose the action. Set the moment.

Select starts, stops, loops and other playback actions. Move the marker to change when the command happens.

Showforge® provides the timeline workflow. MotaVision™ runs video playback and local scripting on mVP™ players.

From programming to playback

Made for the Weigl workflow.

Configure the devices, create the experience and transfer the show to the hardware that runs it.

Software → Hardware → ShowExplore the system ↗

Connect & configure

Use Configurator to discover devices, set network addresses and check the system before programming.

Create & test

Record and edit in Showforge. Preview the show with connected hardware while adjusting timing and movement.

Deploy & play

Export shows and logic to compatible ProCommander® or Pro I/O™ hardware. A ProCommander provides standalone timeline playback.

ProCommander®

Transfer timelines and show data to onboard storage, then run the finished show without leaving the programming computer in place. Choose the controller around the required motion, audio, lighting and I/O.

Explore ProCommander ↗

Pro I/O™

Add inputs and outputs near the equipment. Stream to supported modules directly from software, or expand a ProCommander system through Ethernet or supported WEM-NET connections.

Explore Pro I/O ↗

WEM | Script™

Connect timeline playback to triggers, commands and interactive logic. Use supported network and serial control to connect Weigl devices with the rest of the installation.

Explore WEM | Script ↗

mVP™ video playback

Bring triggered scenes and synchronized media into the system. Connect the player through supported commands and timecode, or use it independently for interactive video.

Explore mVP ↗

Connections, channel counts and export options depend on the selected device, firmware and software version.
